This Second Basic Course in Orthopaedics was once again a great success as far as the number of participants are concerned. In this course which was both theoretic as well as practical, more than three dozen General Practitioners and eleven Orthopaedic Surgeons who gave the course and presented the main pathologies in orthopaedic disorders demonstrating the appropriate methods of approach in the intervention of the various pathologies.
This Course in Orthopaedics is in the process of accreditation by the Portuguese Association of Family Medicine, where the next course will be held in October at the Gambelas Hospital. In the near future these courses will also be available to General Practitioners in working in the Alentejo.
